The Monte Carlo Golf Club was created in 1911 as the result of amicable pressure from the large British community in Monaco at that time. A short drive away from Monte Carlo and after a steep climb on the last slopes of the Alps dramatically plunging into the Mediterranean, the Monte Carlo Golf Club is perched in a breathtaking site, 900 meters (3,000 ft.) above the sea. From its vantage position, the club seems literarily suspended between the sky and the sea, looking down on what looks like a miniature version of Monaco.
