overlooking the picturesque village of St. Jean - St. Germain. The beautiful
medieval town of Loches is three miles from Mont-Felix on the route national
143, which runs from Tours, some twenty-five miles distant.

The double bedrooms with adjoining single rooms are ideal for families. Each
bedroom has an individual style in keeping with the house - spacious and
comfortable.
All the rooms have interesting views, however, the view from the terrace -
accessed from the centre salon - of the park and lawn, with their magnificent
200-year-old Lebanese cedar trees, and the village of St. Jean, is truly
breathtaking.
All rooms have wonderful light, space and views across the local woodland and
the town of Loches with its medieval Chateau and dungeon.
In the cellar there is a utility room with a large washing machine and tumble
dryer for your use and a full size table tennis table should you fancy a game!
The Pool
The swimming pool, l2 x 6 meters, is located in the grounds close to the
Chateau. Poolside furniture and a gas barbecue are provided. The swimming pool
is next to the castle (20 metres), and has garden furniture and chaises long for
your sunbathing and relaxation time, also, a 'solar powered shower'. The pool
water is treated by a natural method; no chemicals are added to treat the water.
There are 3 pool steps leading to the shallow area of the pool, for the very
young and older ones. The pool faces south and has sunshine throughout the day,
with extensive views overlooking the front grassed area and the village St.
Jean. There have been many, many pleasant hours spent in this little 'niche' of
the castle.
Local Activities
This is the perfect place from which to enjoy the many delights that the Loire
Valley has to offer.
For the sports minded there is a brand-new 9 hole golf course one mile away.
Local public tennis courts are also available in the neighbouring village.
The local area abounds with wonderful restaurants and wine caves.
The medieval town of Loches has its own magnificent Château and dungeon and is
renowned for being one of the oldest and best-preserved towns in France. It has
a wonderful market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which should not be missed.
The famous Chateaux de Chenonceau, Chambord, Chinon, Amboise and Blois are
within easy driving distance.
The famous Futuroscope (Theme Park) is 40 miles distant and is well worth a
visit, as is Tours, the capital of the Touraine, a beautiful city with something
of interest for everyone.
