The Manor: Just outside the picturesque village of Biron on the border of
the Dordogne and the Lot-et-Garonne lies this XVII century Manor. The grounds to
the property are exceptional. Approximately 60 acres (23 hectares) over half of
which is natural woodland with wild deer, 15 acres of cultivated pine woodland
and 10 of lawns and cut open spaces. A stream runs through the valley. None of
this land has had any artificial fertilizers or hunting for the last 35 years.
The accommodation is comfortable and generous with a totally French ambiance,
being furnished largely with French ‘provincial’ antiques.

21st century. The all weather swimming pool (5 x 13,5 metres) with a fish shaped
children’s pool(4 x 8 metres), 2 holes golf-court to practice, the shaded boules
pitch, the all-weather tennis court, the children’s playground, the barn with
games (table tennis, football-game, etc.) plus all modern conveniences
(central-heating, telephone, satellite TV, fax service if necessary) make the
property extremely comfortable at any time of the year. There is an English
speaking couple living on the estate, responsible for pool and garden
maintenance always happy to give you the benefit of their local knowledge.
