Region
The property is situated in the Gers Department of the Midi-Pyrenees which has
to be the most beautiful region in France (well we would say that!). It is such
a diverse Region that we have two pages of information on this site alone - wow!
There are numerous and varied activities to please all personalities, including
Golf, Skiing, Walking and Ski-Diving.
The nearest town, 2 kilometres away, is Vic-Fezensac. Although a small town, Vic
has a huge heart, staging as it does a large variety of festivals in its
magnificent bullfighting stadium.
The medieval town of Auch is 20 minutes away and has some wonderful old
buildings, notably it's cathedral, as well as places to eat.
Toulouse 1 hour away is a vibrant cosmopolitan city as well as being a
relatively unknown jewel of a French city.
For skiing, walking and some of the most dramatic mountain villages and views a
visit to the Pyrenees is a must.
Rub shoulders with the beautiful people in Biarritz and visit the romantically
dramatic Atlantic coast. Perhaps the wonderful sandy beaches and warmer waters
of the Med are more to your taste.
Finally, visit the finest vineyards the world has to offer and if you are
sensible try a few glasses (in moderation of course!).
Getting There
Toulouse and Bordeaux airports
are both within 1.5 hours drive.
