In the
beautiful Périgord Noir of southwest France, this Château sits high above the
banks of the Dordogne River surrounded by twelve acres of park and woodland and
providing guests with a breathtaking valley view. A grand structure, the
castle began as a fortified manor in the seventeenth century and was
enlarged and transformed in the eighteenth century into the elegant Renaissance
castle it is today. Every room offers a dramatic view of the Dordogne
Valley. All modern comforts are afforded to guests to ensure that their stay
combines both the conveniences of the 21st century with the historic charm and
ambiance of the past. With room for up to sixteen people, this enchanting
château offers all modern conveniences including a fully-equipped vaulted stone
kitchen, a dining room, two comfortable lounges with grand Renaissance stone
fireplaces, saltwater swimming pools, and eight beautifully appointed guest
rooms - two with twin beds and six with doubles. Housekeeping services are
provided four hours each week, and a chef can be provided if guests so desire.

courses within 20km.
