At the
castle, you will not be in an anonymous hotel. Katy and Eric will share their
passion for medieval times with you and give you access to the intimacy of their
13th century castle. Welcome like friends, you will enjoy the cosy evenings in
the castle's living room or the long afternoons on their sun-drenched terrace
with spectacular views. Have a go at one of the many activities: take a dip into
the swimming pool, play table tennis, table football, billiards or "pétanque",
get on a mountain bike to discover the spectacular landscape in an area of
outstanding natural beauty. Go trout-fishing or simply discover the cultural
heritage the region has to offer: Sylvanès Abbey, the Roquefort Caves (yes, it's
where they cure the famous cheese) the Fayet castle, the famous Temlpar's
Knights trail etc. Whatever you decide, you will be seduced by the warm welcome
and the majestic surroundings. For more than 800 years ago, the Castle dominated
the Sorques Valley. Today, it will open its heart for you.
Château in Versols in Southern Aveyron. The castle is a medieval jewel
beckoning from the 13th Century. Overlooking the magical valley of the Sorgues,
this entirely renovated castle with swimming pool is for rent on a weekly basis.
A magical location for a gathering of friends or family, for ten people.
For the past 800 years, the Château proudly dominated the Valley of the Sorgues.
Four handsome towers at each corner, with red shutters on the many windows that
let out onto picturesque landscapes. Enjoy life at the Castle on the bank of the
Sorgues. Between Saint-Affrique and the Larzac plateau, the Valley of the
Sorgues has the subdued charm of hidden treasures. It is not as renowned as
other aveyronnese valleys, and yet its singular beauty has in all seasons
attracted noblemen and notables of Montpellier in search of authentic holiday
spots. The villages bordering the Sorgues are as warm as they are beautiful. The
silhouette of the chateau, in the heart of the forest, can be seen by merely
looking upwards from Versols
