Description
The charming property of Château is situated in a small hamlet both an
agricultural and vineyard community close to Uzès with its well preserved
Renaissance architecture (15 km), the roman city of Nimes with its famous arena
(30 km) and the Pont du Gard (25 km).
The property is an old family home since 1750. It has been gradually restored
through the years by the same family, and has kept its authentic character.
From the original buildings, dated 13th century, remains a pretty paved
courtyard and a tower with its spiral staircase, which leads to the upper
floors. The height of the vaulted ceilings in most of the rooms gives an
impression of vast proportions.
The classical facade overlooks a walled garden "à la française" of some 10,000
m2 with shady walks between pruned box trees and a private swimming pool (11m x
5m x 2.2m) with its solarium.
