Description
Built in 1844, this is an impressive traditional Savoyard farmhouse. Set on the
crest of a gentle hill in the heart of the undulating Haute-Savoie countryside,
it is just 15/20 min from Annecy and its lake. It is also 40/45 min from Geneva
airport. The house has been entirely converted and modernised internally with
four spacious bedrooms, a large lounge with imposing fireplace, dining room and
kitchen. The decoration and style of the house, whilst retaining the character
of a country farmhouse, is light, fresh and up to date.
The large gardens, which are shared with the resident family, have a large
swimming pool (with Jet stream), pool house, BBQ equipment and plenty of
garden/pool furniture. They are both secluded and secure, with two large
motorised entrance gates, mature hedges and plenty of parking space. On clear
days, in any season, there are spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the Alps
across the rolling countryside.
Bedrooms
Each of the bedrooms has en-suite facilities (shower or bath/shower, wash basin)
and two have a private toilet. Ranging in size from 20m² to 17m², two have a
third bed and each can accommodate a cot, if necessary. There are four large
double bedrooms in total each of which has been tastefully decorated with an
individual look and style. Each has en-suite facilities and under floor heating.
The yellow & white bedrooms are normally for two people and each has a shower
and washbasin en-suite. They share a toilet a few steps away on the landing.
The cafe & green rooms are for 2 or 3 people. Both have private en-suite
bath/shower rooms and toilets. We also have baby travel cots available on
request.
