Description
The Chateau is a former hunting lodge dating back to the seventeenth century.
The Chateau is situated half way between Blois and Tours, 7 kms from Amboise and
16 from Chenonceau, in the heart of the Loire Valley. Close to the excellent
Vouvray wine-growing area, the chateau is surrounded by a beautiful wooded park
of 4.5 acres and the terrace overlook a small decorative lake. There are
numerous paths for walks in the woods and adjacent countryside.
You will be accommodated in comfortable rooms, furnished with period furniture,
and welcomed by the great-great grand-daughter of the painter Ernest Meissonier,
Madame Beatrice Sandrier. You will find here a family atmosphere, warmth and
calm.
Within the chateau complex you may hold receptions and seminars, or perhaps you
would like to develop your culinary talents under the guidance of Mme Sandrier,
who is assisted by a professional chef.
Bedrooms
We have six bedrooms : three large rooms on the first floor, and three charming
rooms under the eaves. All the rooms are equipped with private bathrooms and
toilets. In all we can accommodate 14 adults plus children.
Weddings, Receptions & Seminars
Within the estate we can accommodate your marriage receptions, or any other
festivities in a large grange, traditionally restored, and specially equipped
for receptions.
Interior Capacity: seating from 100 to 120 people, dependent on the table
arrangements.
Plus the covered terrace: 180 people.
Since the grange is equipped with a dais, it is an ideal location for concerts,
theatre groups etc.

In addition to the main reception room, seminars can be held in the smaller
public rooms within the château.
