Description
You will be
welcomed as friends into this family home, built in the 18th century. The
central part of the building was erected in the time of Louis 16th, the
pavilions during the era of Henri IV. The 7 comfortable and tastefully decorated
rooms, including two suites, sleep up to 18 people.
Your hostess, Madame de Verdun, is happy to provide you with breakfast, brunch,
lunch, dinner or cocktails at your request. The grand salon and the dining room
can be host to an exclusive wedding reception, or business seminar. The salon
seats 14 guests, and the dining room 20. It is also possible for you to marry
here - the grounds include a chapel where up to 50 people can gather to witness
your marriage.
The 55 acre property features lovely French gardens, and cycling, horse riding,
fishing, hunting and golf are just a few of the many activities on offer in the
local area.
The Centre region includes the cities of Orléans and Tours, plus the towns of
Bourges and Chartres, both of which feature outstanding Gothic cathedrals. All
this is surrounded by a wonderful rural landscape. An amazing variety of fruits
and vegetables is harvested, and there are many vineyards spreading out from the
river. An added bonus is that the Centre region borders the Ile-de-France, so
you are never far from Paris.
