Description
In Burgundy, between Vézelay ans Avallon, in the Parc Naturel du Morvan, this
elegant and warm castle from the 15th and 17th centuries, in the middle of its
pleasure grounds with centenarian trees, surrounding the Vezelien hills.
The castle of Island, formerly named "Château des Chaumes", was built by
Guillaume de Ferrières, from 1448 to 1480. Today, it is possible to stay a few
days in its rooms. On reservation, a dinner may be served.

Weddings & Receptions
The 80 m3 salon is an ideal place to organise your reception (weddings, bal). It
is decorated with wooden panelling overlooking the park with 8 beautiful large
windows.
The chateau can guest 70 people for a dinner or lunch and up to 120 people for a
cocktail.
For a reception of more than 70 people, an outside marquee can be set in the
park.
The caterer is imposed.
