Description
The chateau is a palatial, mooted residence, built for the Priors of the
Cistercian abbey. Located in the heart of the “Grands Crus” vineyards of
Burgundy between Dijon and Beaune. The chateau is absolutely magnificent,
especially the gardens, comparable to those of the chateaux in the Loire Valley
that are open only for visit, but you can not stay in them. Here you can! And of
course as Chateau is to be expected in a chateau of this kind, every room is
different from the other; they are all decorated in a style that retains its
ancient charm and authenticity, but with all the comfort of a modern luxury
hotel in its 48 rooms, the elegant apartments and the drawing rooms with their
open fires. There is also a gourmet restaurant in the underground section of the
castle, in a unique and magnificent setting attained by using a restored vaulted
cellar. The chateau is simply one of the best addresses you can chose to stay
while in the Burgundy area. In addition to the outstanding palatial quality, the
location of the chateau is just perfect to visit the area where the grapes that
produce some of the world famous wines are grown.

The chateau is a beautiful place to organise weddings and receptions. It let at
your disposal a magnificent 14th century gothic dining room (seats 80) and a
Banquet room with French ceilings and tapestry work (200 persons).
