Your very own
Château in the heart of beautiful Burgundy.
Built in 1820 on the site of a former Château, the castle is a rare gem.
Beautifully furnished and comprehensively equipped, it offers the discerning
guest a unique holiday experience. To discover a different, less hurried pace of
life as the proprietor for a week or two of your very own Bourguignon Château.
On arrival at the
Château guests will receive a warm , aristocratic welcome from Monsieur Le
Comte. Following a kir Royal, guests will be shown the Château . A traditional
Bourguignon welcome breakfast will be served the following morning, after which
Monsieur le Comte will introduce the Château’s housekeeper, who cleans and
organises the shutters for 3 hours each day. A tour of the private parts of the
estates includes the Basse Cour which is then followed by a short trip into the
nearby town of Pierre de Bresse, where guests are introduced to the local
shopkeepers and traders as guests at the Château. Finally, back at the castle,
the front door key will be handed over to the lead guest, who becomes for two
weeks the Lord of the Manor.
Perfect for a family holiday, celebration or business meetings, the Château
comprises a selection of grand state and cosy, family-style rooms ideal for
entertaining guests.
Outside you are surrounded by a 90 acre private estate of parkland with woods
and gardens, planted in English style, guaranteeing privacy and tranquillity, to

time using the gardens' charming 19th century sundial.
